A Navy officer and a Marine fired their sidearms hoping to kill or subdue the gunman who murdered five service members last week in Chattanooga, Tennessee, according to multiple military officials familiar with internal reporting on the tragedy.
Members of Congress took a moment of silence today on the House floor, in honor of the service members who were killed in Chattanooga. As you recall, Obama partied in NYC and didn't acknowledge the loss of life of those brave soldiers that day. Mr. Obama failed to order that the White House flag be at half-staff in honor of the service members killed in Chattanooga. We honor the victims here at CVP.

Donald Trump says that if elected president, he will abolish the gun free zones currently imposed on U.S. troops by “[mandating] that soldiers remain armed and on alert at our military bases.”

We remember the sacrifices of our veterans and their families on this Memorial Day weekend.
God bless our military and their families. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of the Marine killed in the military exercise.
